2025-2026 Re-Enrollment Open!
9th - 11th Grade Parents: Please check your email and Blackbaud account to view the 2025-2026 Re-Enrollment Agreement. Re-enroll by January 31st to: 1) Receive a $50 Tuition Credit for your Blackbaud Payment Plan Fee 2) Be entered into a $1,000 Tuition Credit drawing for 25-26 3) Enable your student to register for his 2025-2026 courses in early spring. Annual Guardian Angels Project MEND Drive
From now until January 24, please bring in donations for the Annual Guardian Angels Project MEND drive.
We will be collecting three-ring binders, disposable gloves, and cleaning supplies - such as bleach wipes. The binders can be new or gently used. You can bring in your donations to Mr. Bendele in room 252 before or after school and can earn up to 4 service hours.

Thomas Murray '27 Partners with Guardian Angels on Eagle Scout Project

Alumni Visit the Iron Fangs
The Central Catholic Robotics Team, the Iron Fangs, has been hard at work preparing for multiple competitions near the end of the third quarter.
At a recent practice, the boys were visited by last year’s two team captains - Noah Flores '24 and Robert Rodriguez '24. It is always great to see our alumni continue to be mentors to their younger CC brothers.

Brain and Eye Day at the UT Health Science Center
Coach Curran's A&P students participated in Brain and Eye Day at the UT Health Science Center. First and second year medical students walked our young men through the anatomy and physiology of the brain, brain disease and disorder, and they even got to do a sheep eye dissection!
This proved to be a wonderful learning experience for our senior's and thank you for UT Health Science Center for being so welcoming.

Science Department Guest Lecture Series - Detective Richard Boyle
On Thursday, January 16, Detective Richard Boyle visited Central Catholic to give an after school presentation about his work in the SAPD to combat against criminal activity in San Antonio.

Central Catholic vs Antonian Basketball Game POSTPONED
Due to weather conditions, this weeks Freshman, JV and Varsity basketball games have been postponed to Feb. 11 or Feb. 12. Once the Venue and Time has been confirmed we will notify everyone through our notification system, website, and official social media channels.

Baseball Team Tryouts 2025
Due to inclement weather baseball tryouts are now happening on Saturday, January 25th.
Tryouts will still be taking place at Kahlig Field (10415 Kahlig Dr, San Antonio, TX 78211). Check in is at 9:15 AM and the start time is at 9:30 AM on Saturday, January 25th.

1000 Point Club
Congratulations to Tristan Garza '26 for becoming part of the elite 1000 point club this past Friday against St. Dominic Savio. Tristan ended the night with a victory, 17 points, and now has a total of 1008 points. He was also recognized by the San Antonio Express News and received a Game Ball.

CC Soccer Turns Heads in Rankings
The Varsity soccer team continues it's winning ways. The Buttons do not shy away from a tough schedule as their game against Regan ended in a 0-0 tie and fell short to Lee in a 1-3 loss. The Buttons are 1st in their district, #3 in the City and #2 in all of TAPPS.

CC Bowling, a Team that Means Business!
The Central Catholic Bowling team continues to be in 1st place in the private school bowling league with a record of 7-1. Mario Munoz '25 continues to be the top bowler in the league with Jon Saucedo '26, Aiden Lozano '26, and Andrew Flores '26 being in the Top 10.
The Buttons also took a break from league play and competed in a 28 team bowling tournament (High School Bowling Classic). Mario Munoz '25 made the All-Tournament Team and Central Catholic was one of the only private school that participated.
